Turtle Brownie Recipe

Brownie

  • 510g Sugar
  • 455g Butter
  • 455g Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 385g Pecans (chopped)
  • 340g Eggs
  • 340g Milk Chocolate
  • 180g All Purpose Flour
  • 170g Chocolate Liquor
  • 30g Instant Coffee Ground
  • 30g Vanilla Extract
  • 15g Baking Powder
  • 5g Salt

Coating

  • Garnish with chopped pecans
  • Garnish with caramel
  • Scoop vanilla ice cream on the side if desired

Directions

  1. Butter and flour a 1/2 sheet pan.
  2. Melt butter, dark chocolate chips and chocolate liquor to 113˚F.
  3. Temper the coffee grounds, eggs, vanilla and sugar with the chocolate mixture. Cool to room temperature.
  4. Combine all dry ingredients and mix.
  5. Add chopped pecans, milk chocolate and spread in pan.
  6. Bake at 300˚F for 35 minutes.
  7. Coat with garnish options and serve as desired.
